Blind pimple

A blind pimple is pimple which is without a head. They are more deep seated. Therefore, these are very painful, being closer to the nerves. Also known as papule, blind pimples appear as a red/pink lump.

How to deal with them

NEVER try to squeeze, prick or pop them. As they don't have a head and are deep within the skin, you will increase the infection on popping them and may leave a long-lasting scar.

To treat a blind pimple you have to use the technique of warm compression. This will help in forming a head so that the pimple drains easily.

Just take a cloth, dip it in hot water and apply over the affected part for a minute or two. Repeat the procedure several times.

You can also use other general remedies like tea tree oil, aloe vera or apple cider vinegar.

Prevention

Drink lots of water, take a healthy diet and keep your face clean.

Avoid using harsh beauty products. Use milder, natural products.
